Seebensee and Drachensee are located south to Ehrwald in Austria about 17 km from the German-Austrian border if you come from the direction of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. It’s one of the best day trip options from Munich. The shiny emerald-blue Seebensee is situated at an altitude of 1,657 metres surrounded by breath-taking mountains. From Seebensee you can hike further to reach Drachensee which is at about 1910 metres for an even more spectacular view. I explored the region in 2016 July. That’s when I took my photos. Enjoy the blog! 🙂

Please remember that you should use the cheapest ticket which is Bayern Ticket for your trip.
Check out my blog on Bayern Ticket to see how you can set your search so that you see the price for it.
